Sarah Brantley was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she attended high school at Caddo Magnet High School. She graduated in 2007 and went on to attend Louisiana Tech University where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry in 2011. She completed her master’s degree as a physician assistant from LSUHSC School of Allied Health in 2013. Sarah is a board-certified physician assistant, with over 8 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery, and is excited to be working with Dr. Carlton Houtz as her supervising physician.
Sarah played various sports throughout her childhood but spent most of her time on the lacrosse field. She developed a passion for running and cross training into her adulthood. She enjoys working with athletes on proper maintenance and safe training practices to protect their bodies and joints during play and practice. Sarah is married to Wes Brantley, a Ruston native, and they have two small children. She is a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, running and spending time with her family.
