Lauren Lee, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Lauren Lee is a Nurse Practitioner with the Highland Clinic Orthopaedics Department. Lauren works in tandem with Highland Clinic’s Dr. George Byram, diagnosing and treating orthopaedic ailments, assisting in surgery, and providing pre-operative and post-operative care. With 17 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse in a variety of areas, Lauren has developed a diverse and comprehensive skill set. Her experience has equipped her with a strong foundation in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education, enabling her to provide high-quality, compassionate care across multiple healthcare environments. When not caring for patients, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, and community involvement.

Payton Piotter, FNP-C

Payton is a Family Nurse Practitioner practicing orthopedics. She works in collaboration with Dr. Hoge, Highland Clinic’s Orthopedic Spine Specialist. Payton’s focus is centered on diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions, providing pre-operative and post-operative care, as well as assisting Dr. Hoge in surgery. 

Payton was raised in Many, Louisiana. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2017. Following graduation, she began her profession as a labor and delivery nurse in Shreveport, LA. In 2023, she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing to pursue her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Payton is a current member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. 

Outside of her professional life, Payton enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, as well as exercising.

Sadie McCallister Beebe, PA-C

Sadie Beebe, PA-C, is a highly skilled physician assistant with over 13 years of experience in orthopaedic clinical practice. She works in close collaboration with Dr. Berken at Highland Clinic Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (2024), specializing in the care and management of patients with orthopaedic conditions. Sadie has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, and her focus includes managing osteoporosis within the clinic setting.

Her expertise extends to developing personalized care plans, medical documentation, and diagnostic assessments, ensuring comprehensive care for her patients. Known for her excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Sadie excels at building strong relationships with a diverse range of patients. She continually strives to expand her clinical knowledge and remains dedicated to providing high-quality care.

Paul Butts, PA-C

Paul Butts is a dedicated Physician Assistant joining the Highland Clinic Orthopedics team. In his role, Paul will be working alongside Dr. Feibel, focusing on diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions with a commitment to exceptional patient care.

A local to the area, Paul is a proud alumnus of Benton High School and earned his B.S. in Applied Biology from Louisiana Tech University in 2017. After, he spent 2 years working as a Physical Therapy technician prior to going to PA school in 2019. Since then, he has had roles in Acute care settings.

Outside of his professional life, Paul enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their dog. He is also an avid exerciser and loves exploring the outdoors.

Olivia Goldman, PA-C

Olivia Goldman is a nationally certified and licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C). She was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana. 

Prior to PA school Olivia gained experience in the Emergency Department and Cardiology before moving to New Orleans to attend Xavier University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

After graduation she worked as a PA in general surgery in Minden before joining Dr. Houtz at Highland Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in December 2023. 

She is well-versed in many aspects of patient care including the outpatient, inpatient, and operating room settings. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys traveling with her husband, pickleball, and taking her 2 dogs, Avery & King Arthur, for walks.

Lauren McHan

Lauren McHan was born and raised in the Shreveport-Bossier City area, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2021. While working on her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport, she completed her preceptorship with Dr. Timothy W. Talbert at Highland Clinic. Since graduating and receiving board certification in 2023, Lauren has continued to work alongside Dr. Talbert as a Physician Assistant aiding in patient care and treatment.  She enjoys spending time with her husband Cameron and traveling the world.   Lauren is passionate about improving patients’ quality of life and is committed to delivering the highest standard of orthopedic care to our community.

Paul Ballard, PA-C

Paul Ballard is a Physician Assistant with the Highland Clinic Orthopaedics Department.  Paul works in tandem with Highland Clinic’s Dr. George Byram diagnosing and treating orthopaedic ailments, assisting in surgery, and providing pre-operative and post-operative care. Paul has many years of experience in Orthopedics as well as the Acute Care setting. Paul worked for several years as a Certified Athletic Trainer, preventing sports injuries and managing the recovery of injured athletes;  before obtaining his degree as a Physician Assistant. He and his wonderful wife have two spirited boys, who keep them very busy.  Paul enjoys spending time with his family as well as being outdoors, running, and traveling.

Alexis K. Green, PA-C

Alexis is a licensed Physician Assistant practicing Orthopaedics, specializing in the Spine since 2004.  She works in tandem with Dr. Hoge, who is Highland Clinic’s Spine Specialist.  Alexis sees patients in the clinic.  She has been with Highland since 2004.

Alexis is a current member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (www.aapa.org/), as well as the local chapter. Northwest Louisiana Association of Physician Assistants (www.ourlapa.org/).  She has participated in medical mission work in Honduras, Belize and Mexico. 

Alexis and her husband, Rob, have three children, Sadie, Ben and Mary Jackson.  She enjoys running, playing tennis, and traveling to Destin, Florida with her family.
